01. The Challenge

This project requires extensive remediation and waterproofing to terraces, balconies, planter boxes, and roof areas across an occupied, multi-unit complex. Maintaining safety and access while minimising resident disruption is critical.

02. The Solution

Act Now will deliver a staged program involving removal of failed components, substrate repairs, new membranes, drainage upgrades, and internal make-good where required. Works included:

• Install WPA epoxy primers & PU membranes to targeted areas
• Add root barriers in planter boxes
• Upgrade drains, scuppers & outlets with new stormwater connections
• Make-good internal gyprock where affected
• Sequenced staging to minimise disruption and ensure compliance

03. The Result

On completion, the works will deliver long-term waterproofing performance, improved drainage, and a durable building envelope—protecting the complex from future water ingress and deterioration.
