01. The Challenge

This project involved waterproofing over 2,200m² of balconies, rooftops, planter boxes, and landscaped podiums. The main challenge was heavily backfilled podium areas, demanding tailored systems and careful staging to ensure compliance with Australian Standards.

Act Now applied liquid waterproofing to balconies, rooftops, landscaped podiums, and planter boxes, with cementitious systems in select zones. Over 2,200m² was treated to deliver a durable, compliant solution built for long-term performance. Works included:

• Delivered a full external waterproofing package for a multi-residential development
• Installed liquid-applied systems across balconies, rooftops, landscaped podiums, and planter boxes
• Applied cementitious waterproofing to high-exposure zones requiring added durability
• Successfully waterproofed 2,281m² of external areas
• Ensured all works were compliant, durable, and designed for long-term performance

The project delivered over 2,200m² of compliant waterproofing across balconies, rooftops, podiums, and planter boxes, ensuring durable protection, long-term performance, and minimal disruption.
